 Texas A&M University

 Architect:   Overland Partners

The Texas A&M Bonfire Memorial Portals consist of 12 custom fabricated bronze sculptures; each one bearing a portrait, name, and biography of one of the students that died in the tragic 1999 Bonfire collapse. Acquiring and assembling the components of the portals required coordination with a group of specialized subcontractors and suppliers.

UT Austin – Harry Ransom Center

 Architect:   Lake/Flato

The Harry Ransom Center is one of the world’s finest depositories of cultural archives and houses thirty million literary manuscripts, one million rare books, five million photographs, and over 100,000 works of art.  The renovation of the seven-story building provided a new glass facade at the front corners rising 30 feet high that is covered with etched images representing the cultural treasures inside the vast archives of the library.
 UTSA Phase II

The second phase of work at the University of Texas at San Antonio consisted of the construction of two new buildings on the campus.  The new facilities include multiple classrooms and offices as well as music rooms, and a performance hall that is designed to seat 375 people.  They are built on the main quadrangle of the main campus.

 Northwest Vista College
 Architect:  BSCMF, Joint Venture
Northwest Vista College is a multi-building campus on a 35-acre site in northwest San Antonio, consisting of the Academic Building, College Commons, Learning Center and Physical Plant. All of these buildings are adjoined by two lighted iron and concrete bridges. Classes were in session and students were on campus while construction continued on the College Commons and Learning Center Buildings.

 Trinity University

Browning Construction Company’s relationship with Trinity University began in 1961 with the construction of Winn Residence Hall.  Over the years, Trinity University and Browning Construction Co. have partnered on many successful projects.  Completion dates for these projects were dictated by the school year, therefore timely completion was crucial to the owner, and to the success of the projects.
