First
Presbyterian Church is located one block east of the
historic Williamson County Courthouse Square in
Georgetown, Texas. Browning was contracted to build the
13,000 square feet, two story addition with a full
basement.
The exterior of the building is native stone and
plaster along with a wood covered connecting walkway to
the existing sanctuary. The building is covered by metal
roofing and dormers which are used as a source of
natural lighting. |

Congregation
Agudas Achim is the synagogue and centerpiece of the
Dell Jewish Community Campus in Austin, Texas.
Its
sanctuary proudly expresses distinction with a
massive stone
exterior, and intricate blend of colors and
textures at the interior, and a Star of David skylight
in the center.
The synagogue was built under strict guidelines
to provide a place for both Orthodox and Reform Jewish
worship. |

David’s Episcopal Church |

The
additions and renovations of St. David’s Episcopal
Church consisted of the remodeling of existing
structures as well as construction of a new addition
providing facilities for education and administration.
The project included installation of extensive wood and
stone finishes. A separate contract provided a vertical
expansion to the existing parking garage. |

The
additions to Christ Episcopal Church consisted of a
three-story, concrete and structural steel frame
building used for worship services, family education and
activities.
Related site work included a new covered walkway
and masonry and steel picket fence to tie in with the
existing 70 year old church building & adjacent
carriage house building. The church is located in a
historical residential area. |

The
additions to First Presbyterian Church, a 60-year old
downtown church on a confined worksite, included a
fellowship hall, kitchen, classrooms, executive offices
and a courtyard addition. Additionally, the old church
building was remodeled, including
office, library and classroom areas. The
multilevel courtyard was built in an area between the
new Fellowship Hall and Classroom addition and the
remodeled church building. |
